BACKGROUND 

St. Paul’s Hospital-kasese was founded by the Anglican Church of Uganda, South Rwenzori Diocese in 1989 under Norwegian Integrated Rural Development Program (IRDP). The facility is owned by the Diocese. The facility exists to improve the health status of the communities in Kasese Municipality and Kasese district at large by providing affordable, accessible, quality and equitable health services. 

Geographical location:                

St. Paul’s hospital-kasese is located in Kamaiba upper cell, Kamaiba ward, Central division, Kasese municipality in Kasese District in the western part of Uganda. It is located below the St Paul’s cathedral of South Rwenzori Diocese. 

Vision 

To be a leading model health centre in Kasese Municipal Council that provides holistic health services to the community. 

Mission Statement 

To provide affordable, accessible, quality and equitable health services to the community as an expression of God’s love through the provision of compressive health service.

Goal: 

To have a healthy productive community in Kasese Municipality
